The 42nd International Dental Show is set for March 16 to 20, 2027, at Koelnmesse in Cologne.
More than 1,000 companies from over 50 countries have registered. Australian dental professionals can get a preview of the exhibition at two presentation lunches later this month.
The dates and venue are also listed in the IDS Cologne calendar and a German trade-fair calendar. The programme will showcase developments in artificial intelligence. Digital dentistry and imaging will also feature. The show will cover implantology and 3D printing.
Briefings set for Melbourne and Sydney
Holger Lehmann of the Association of the German Dental Industry, which owns IDS, will outline exhibition plans. He will also discuss Australian industry priorities. ADIA CEO Kym De Britt will join both presentations. In Melbourne, SDI Dental CEO Samantha Cheetham will attend; in Sydney, ADIA national president Ryan Green will join the event.
The Melbourne lunch is scheduled for Monday, 26 October, at Roccella Restaurant in East Melbourne. Sydney's event follows on Wednesday, 28 October, at The Oaks Hotel in Neutral Bay.
The show's focus on imaging and digital workflows comes as dental technology markets draw attention. One example is this sensor market analysis.
