The companies plan to pair GuidedSMILE's full-arch workflow with Hiossen's implant network and education programs, extending guided-treatment training and support for dentists across North America.

Full-arch cases require surgical planning to account for the intended prosthetic result from the outset.

GuidedSMILE, based in Independence, Ohio, announced a commercial and educational partnership with Hiossen Implants on October 12, 2026. Hiossen is the U.S. subsidiary of South Korea's Osstem Implant. The companies described the deal in a partnership announcement.

The arrangement combines Hiossen's nationwide clinician network with GuidedSMILE's patented stackable surgical guide technology. The companies say dentists will get hands-on training and ongoing clinical support alongside the workflow, which combines Hiossen implant systems with GuidedSMILE's surgical-positioning technology.

Hiossen's Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center, or AIC, offers practical training that includes live surgery, as well as continuing education. The company plans to use customized education programs and its clinical network to give more dentists a chance to learn guided full-arch surgery and gain experience with the workflow.

GuidedSMILE's planning and surgical systems cover the stages of treatment. The workflow moves from surgical planning and bone reduction to implant placement, then temporary restoration and the later restorative stage. It coordinates surgical planning with restorative planning for complex full-arch cases.

The systems are designed to connect implant-positioning decisions with the planned prosthetic result. The partnership pairs software-led planning with clinical training, while a separate dental software launch points to another development in digital dentistry.

GuidedSMILE says its portfolio includes seven patented stackable guide innovations. The company reports that its workflows have been used in more than 50,000 full-arch procedures and that it has produced over 350,000 surgical guides. Those figures describe the company's stated operational experience and production, not comparative clinical outcomes.

Alan Banks, GuidedSMILE's president, said full-arch treatment involves many moving parts and no single technology addresses them all. He said Hiossen brings experience in implant dentistry, along with education and clinician support. GuidedSMILE contributes a workflow built for the challenges of full-arch treatment. Banks said the combined offering gives doctors a practical way to learn and use the workflow, with support available.

Hiossen Implants, the U.S. subsidiary of Osstem Implant, was established in Pennsylvania in 2006. The companies plan to combine its implant systems and clinician education network with GuidedSMILE's full-arch workflow as they seek to extend access to guided treatment and support across North America.

On October 6, 2026, GuidedSMILE announced that its quality management system had received ISO 13485:2016 certification for the manufacture of Class I surgical guides identified as NDP. Amtivo (USA) Inc. conducted the assessment, according to the certification announcement. ISO 13485 is a quality-management standard for medical devices. Certification of a quality system is distinct from FDA authorization for a specific device.
