Study club 1 article

A study club is a small professional learning group that meets repeatedly to discuss clinical cases, techniques, literature or practice questions. Dental study clubs may combine peer discussion with invited teaching, hands-on sessions and review of difficult cases, creating a local or specialty-focused form of continuing education. Their value lies in sustained exchange among participants rather than a single lecture event. A study club differs from a formal degree programme and from a journal club that is primarily organized around critical appraisal of published papers.
