On the hardware side, DEXIS has introduced the NOMAD™ Pro 3 handheld X-ray. It builds on the earlier model with better image quality and stronger durability, while keeping safety at the center. Another upgrade, the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ Motion Correction, tackles a common problem: patients moving during CBCT scans. This feature cuts down on motion blur without needing new hardware. DEXIS says these changes will help dentists trust their images more and work faster. The company's official announcement confirms these hardware updates are meant to boost both image quality and workflow speed.
DEXIS is also updating its software. The new IS ScanFlow software brings in the SEAT Protocol, which guides scanbody-based implant workflows. This should help dentists get better alignment and accuracy for full-arch and multi-unit restorations. The DEXIS Imprevo™ slim tip is made for tight or hard-to-reach spots, giving more control in tricky cases. These changes are aimed at raising data and image quality for complex work. DTX Studio™ Clinic (v4.10) now has an Endodontic Module. This lets dentists see root canal anatomy in 3D before starting treatment, helping both specialists and general dentists plan and refer cases with more confidence.

For clinics worried about big upfront costs, DEXIS is rolling out Hardware-as-a-Service plans. These offer set monthly payments, built-in protection, and easy upgrades, so practices can keep up with new tech without the risk of fast obsolescence.
Training is getting a boost too. DEXIS Academy brings together training, on-demand videos, workflow-based lessons, and peer support in one place. The company is also adding more ways to connect with Asiga, 3Shape, and SmileGrid, so dentists have more options for how they use digital tools in their practice.
