CEREC 1 article

CEREC is Dentsply Sirona's chairside CAD/CAM workflow for designing and producing indirect dental restorations from digital case data. It connects intraoral scanning with restoration design and in-office manufacturing steps such as milling, allowing crowns and other restorations to be planned and fabricated within a digital restorative process. The name refers to the integrated chairside system and workflow, not simply to a scanner, milling unit or restorative material on its own.
